The Chief Technology Officer Organization’s vision is to raise the bar for technical excellence, talent, strategy, and standards across Technology. It also seeks to cultivate and foster technical innovation, as well as elevate and amplify the technical heartbeat of the organization.

This Developer role is based in our Meeting Technology- Digital Workplace/CTO organization and will have a keen focus on platform modernization, bringing to life the latest technology stacks to support the ongoing needs of the business including development and automation areas using full stack development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, evaluating, modifying, deploying, and documenting software and systems that meet the needs of customer-facing applications, business applications, and/or internal end user applications

  • Function as an active member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)

  • Participate in code reviews and automated testing with test driven development approach.

  • Debug basic software components and identify code defects for remediation including Dev, QA and Prod support

  • Support and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments

  • Automate deployments in test or production environments

  • Explores new automation techniques to refine the agility, speed and quality of engineering initiatives and efforts

  • Defines test conditions based on the requirements and specifications provided. Takes part in reviews of own work and handles work efficiently.

  • Design, develop, automate software engineering projects using SDLC lifecycle

  • Participate in on-call rotation support work.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience in software design and implementation using Java, Python, Nodejs for backend programming languages.

  • Some experience with React, Redux

  • Experience in Java. Spring/Spring boot

  • Hands on experience of Core Java concepts including Collection, multithreading, Java 8 features

  • Hands on experience in building REST APIs, GraphQL

  • Experience in RDBMS and NoSQL databases like Mongo DB, Redis

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Good to Have:

  • Experience in Microservices architecture, Cisco and Webex APIs development

  • Experience working in JavaScript and able to demonstrate good JavaScript knowledge.

  • Able to demonstrate good web fundamentals & knowledge of DOM

  • Experience writing adaptive and responsive UI applications

  • Experience with TDD, BDD and unit testing.

  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment and their frameworks, Github, Jenkins, Build and Deployment pipelines

  • Working in an Agile or SAFe development environment is a plus

  • Hands on experience of using UI Visualization library

Qualifications

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually bonus benefits
