As the FLEX Sr. Manager, Associate Creative Director, Partner Content Studio, you will lead the creative strategy and execution for Marriott’s partners, ensuring all assets uphold both Marriott’s brand standards and partner requirements. You will direct and manage multiple internal and external creative resources, ensuring high-quality output and timely project completion. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to oversee creative development, campaign execution, and project scope.

This role requires a highly conceptual thinker with a strategic mindset. As a core member of Riott Haus Creative, Marriott’s in-house creative agency, you will guide and direct teams across art, copy, video, and design, delivering work that exceeds partner expectations. You should also have the technical skills to develop & refine assets when needed to ensure all collateral aligns with brand, partner, and industry standards.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, nimble environment and is adept at producing high-quality creative under tight deadlines. They are a strong team player who fosters collaboration amongst their team. Exceptional leadership skills and an entrepreneurial spirit are essential, as this role will play a key part in building, mentoring, and growing the Partner Content Studio team.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience Required

· 4-year degree from an accredited university in Graphic Design, Art Advertising, Product Design, Advertising, or related field.

· Seven or more years of art direction and design demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.

· Three or more years of managing a design team across both internal creative resources and external agencies or contractors.

· Strong portfolio of previous brand creative work which can be shared and reviewed as part of hiring process.

· Creative agency or publisher creative experience.

· Strong understanding of the agency process, including scope of work development.

· Familiarity with integrated marketing plans and creative asset briefs.

· Understanding of advertising channels and associated measurement & reporting frameworks.

· Must be an expert in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).

· Demonstrated experience with digital marketing and advertising design execution.

· In-depth and current understanding of design trends and industry best practices.

· Experience handling and prioritizing multiple projects across multiple brands / stakeholders.

· Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, particularly when faced with complexity, ambiguity, and tight deadlines.

· Excellent presentation, organization and project management skills.

· A collaborative approach and the ability to triage needs across multiple stakeholders.

· A strategic approach to execution, including an ability to identify process improvements.

Education and Experience Preferred

· Master's degree or MBA.

· Background in digital media / advertising or other digital business.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Primary Leadership Activities:

· Oversee end-to-end process for creative projects, including planning, production, tagging, approval, and delivery.

· Review briefs, drive creative development, and develop and implement creative guidelines and standards.

· Manage and oversee creative agency partners and resources to establish expectations, develop design templates, provide status updates, hand off project deliverables, field feedback, and execute creative projects.

· Create and maintain project schedules for all assets from brief through delivery.

· Organize and leverage all creative assets and inventory.

· Provide hands-on creative support as needed.

· Improve and document creative templates, processes, and project forms to optimize offerings and campaign delivery.

· Works closely with the entire team to develop effective, impactful ideas based on the tactical plan.

· Oversee and implement visual strategy and workflow of digital marketing and advertising campaigns supporting the digital brand strategy.

· Work cross-functionally with Advertising Operations and Product & Tech teams to streamline creative development process.

· Play a key role in shaping the Partner Content Studio, identifying opportunities to refine creative processes and scale capabilities.

· Manage budgets, timelines, and work process flow for all creative projects.

· Ensure that quality is of the highest standards and in line with Marriott's brand standards.

· Update stakeholders on key initiative wins and opportunities, respond to concerns, and solicit feedback. Engage leadership to develop and execute action plans to address gaps.

· Assist direct reports in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships as business partnerships.

Managing Profitability

· Work with teams to develop an operational strategy that is aligned with the brand’s business strategy and leads its execution.

· Review and audit expenses.

· Review reports and financial statements to determine performance against budget.

· Monitor performance against revenue goals.

· Coach and support team to manage expenses and controllable expenses.

The pay range for this position is $57.25 to $100.67 per hour.
