Job Description

Global Corporate and Investment Banking (GCIB) Business Control and Governance group has a centralized Issue and Access Management Governance and coordination team to ensure adherence to firm policies and procedures across GCIB. This candidate will support daily and periodic routines aligned to GCIB procedures in place to comply with enterprise-wide standards.

  • Engage with teammates within the Issues Management team to support FLU ongoing tracking of issues and action plans coming due

  • Support routines to confirm the effectiveness of the risk and control framework for adherence to enterprise-wide standards

  • Monitor access management deliverables across GCIB stakeholders to ensure timely completion.

  • Provide effective challenge to issue owners regarding issue identification, remediation planning, execution, and evidence packaging to ensure they are robust and address the issue in question

  • Implement optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business controls efforts and communicate results in a timely and concise manner

  • Support the creation and maintenance executive and management level issue and metrics reporting

  • Assist in the execution of ad-hoc strategic initiatives for the Business Controls Organization

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Bachelors direct to Masters degree orequivalent experience

  • Seeking a detailed oriented, highly motivated individual who enjoys multi-tasking within a dynamic environment

  • Superior relationship and interpersonal skills

  • The candidate should respond well to evolving job duties and expectations

  • Sets and accomplishes goals, achieving whatever you put your mind to

  • Communicates clearly and confidently

  • Works well with others and collaborates productively

  • Thorough and will incorporate relevant internal policy requirements into the daily and long-term strategies for the Business Controls team

  • Skilled with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
