Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions (EDDS) brings together key internal business operations that provide support to all American Express business units. As part of EDDS, the Enterprise Performance Channel Enablement team supports digital marketing initiatives at scale.

The Manager role will oversee US audience & media solutions, primarily focused on People Based Marketing (PBM), which is designed to future-proof digital marketing across American Express. Additionally, this role will focus on ad tech innovation. Understanding, vetting & enabling new marketing/publisher solutions to ensure the enterprise continues to run best in class marketing efforts. This position works closely with various business units across the Enterprise, other key EDDS partners & external partners; focused on building data-driven audience segmentation, strategies, and execution.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with American Express colleagues to understand their business and fashion suitable performance channel & people-based solutions to help them drive growth

  • Support the continued development of our People Based Marketing program, enabling key strategic business units to take advantage of central platforms

  • Drive key performance indicators, most notably Acquisition, through digitally addressable channels

  • Oversee the development of audience strategy across business units for both prospects & customers

  • Work with key Ad Tech, Mar Tech, & Agency partners

  • Influence & manage key strategic partners to help them understand the benefits of AXP platforms and data solutions

  • Develop robust testing program, to contribute to global learnings and incrementally grow the channels

  • Partner with Analytics & Data Science counterparts to understand, and make best use of, Amex data sources and deliver new measurement solutions

  • Monitor internal & external digital trends and technologies, to continually improve the program and maintain competitive advantage

  • Investigate expansion into new channels and opportunities

  • Support platforms and solutions with appropriate processes, governance, and contractual requirements

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory policy with internal Privacy stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in digital marketing required, with experience managing performance channels

  • Understand of addressable, programmatic and native advertising

  • Experience working with digital Ad Tech and Mar Tech

  • Strong people management skills, experience directly managing an individual is a plus

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization, influencing stakeholders

  • Excellent oral & written communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership

  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational & time management skills

  • A self-starter who owns their role, is able to multi-task, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits
