This position supports Corporate Affairs & Communication’s (CA&C) adherence to the Third Party Lifecycle Management (TLM) program and AEMP10, our company’s framework to prevent and mitigate third-party risk.

Responsibilities include:

As part of CA&C’s Business Unit TLM Lead Team, review a high volume of third party engagement requests and work closely with CA&C’s Third Party Relationship Managers (TRMs), Global Supply Management (GSM), TLM Center of Excellence (TLM COE), Third party Information Security Team (TSM) and other subject matter risk experts to complete the end to end third party risk management process for our third parties, from onboarding to termination.

Answer daily questions from TRMs regarding all aspects of our third-party management process and communicate important deadlines.

Support the TRM’s completion of risk assessment questionnaires and other risk/mitigating controls documentation. Maintain repository of all related documents to support TRMs with any future questions from the TLM Payments Review team or other compliance teams.

Maintain CA&C’s contract inventory list and work with TRMs to renew expiring contracts in a timely manner.

Support TRMs in completing our annual Third Party Global Regulatory Learning Program.

Other responsibilities as needed to support our department on overall TLM program requirements and other aspects of third party risk.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in Third Party Management/Risk, Information Security Management, Operational Risk, and/or Compliance, ideally in more than one of these disciplines.

Knowledge of Process Unity, Ariba, and Oracle strongly preferred

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills including collaborating and influencing abilities with proven ability to operate successfully across matrix organization and without direct authority

Clear, effective written and oral communication skills and ability to influence across all levels of the organization and strong organizational, prioritization and collaboration skills.

Ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and partner with stakeholders to deliver on shared objectives

Strong project and process management skills; Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously as well as frequent ad-hoc requests

An open and growth mindset with nimble learning agility to identify and drive new thinking

Ability to transform, adapt and evolve role with business needs

Bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
