Private Banking Reporting Analyst -

Private Bank Controls and Supervision is engaged in executing a multi-year Private Bank Data Strategy and need an individual with strong reporting and technical background and a strategic / risk-based mindset. This job is responsible to help drive Private Bank Controls & Supervision’s execution and governance of reporting automation projects and to support data strategy vision and the utilization of BI tools to improve overall reporting processes. The individual should have a good understanding of reporting tools, reporting and analytics processes and various data platforms including data lineage and data health, He/she should be able to effectively engage technology, line of business stakeholders and control partners to build out reporting dashboards/projects and gain consensus. This role requires a blend of experience in program management, stakeholder engagement, and technology, data and reporting architecture. Key responsibilities include defining, developing, executing, and maintaining reporting and analytics capabilities to meet evolving demands while ensuring that the work aligns with our strategic goals and is executed within the Bank’s Risk Framework.

Responsibilities :

  • Build reports, automation workflows, visualization dashboards and support data processes with expert level knowledge of key tools and systems including Tableau, SQL, and Alteryx.

  • Develop high quality deliverables (automation software, technical documentation, and testing).

  • Supporting the development of an automation opportunity assessment framework and an associated automation tool selection criteria to ensure right tools are applied to the right opportunities.

  • Support regulatory, audit and internal business data needs, as necessary and ensure compliance with Enterprise Data Management standards.

  • Applies critical thinking, analytical skills, and thoughtful, fact-based approach to solve complex problems.

  • Effective communication skills; able to communicate complex ideas in a clear manner to a diverse array of audiences.

  • Engages with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives.

Desired Qualification :

  • Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, certification a plus but not required.

  • Experience with data and ETL tools such as Alteryx and SQL.

  • Quick learner and flexible in adapting to new tools and technologies, processes, and business needs.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Must have good organizational, project management and communications skills.

  • Good documentation skills to capture requirements, processes, and test results.

  • A strong desire to learn and drive operational excellence.

  • Experience partnering with technology teams and other stakeholders on change management initiatives.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$83,200.00 - $122,300.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
