The Enterprise Platforms Loyalty and Benefits organization is looking for a talented and experienced Sr Product Manager to be a part of offer strategy for American Express. These responsibilities will include leading transformation activities and building capabilities with their peer product managers across the Offers domain.

As the Sr Product Manager, you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders & business partners to define the business needs, frame strategy, create and own the roadmap, execute and deliver on priorities and effectively communicate at all levels. In addition, one Product Owner will be led by the Sr Product Mgr.

Responsibilities:

  • This role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of marketing and partner management.

  • Deep engagement and consultation with various business teams to understand current and future Offer needs.

  • Work collaboratively across various stakeholder groups, including Loyalty, Marketing, Merchant, channel partners, technologies and compliance, to envision and deliver Offer requirements.

  • Lead the product envisioning for Offers capabilities & solutions partnering with business and technical architects, subject matter expert and product owners to create capabilities and features.

  • Build and actively manage a product backlog of features and capabilities that are refined and prioritized in close collaboration with the business teams.

  • Manage and work with product peers on the allocation of scrum team capacity by translating features into prioritized user stories.

  • Full participation in and support of agile practices and ceremonies to reinforce the agile transformation of the delivery team.

  • Build robust understanding of Amex Offers as well as competitive landscape.

  • Communicate and build consensus across multiple teams in creating solutions to business needs.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as product owner/manager

  • Must have experience communicating and influencing above and creating/delivering presentations for wide leadership audiences

  • Experience working in building large-scale, high-performance backend solutions preferred

  • Team skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within organization, internally and externally

  • Proficient knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies and IT project management

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to consult with various stakeholders and drive to optimal requirements

  • Strong problem structuring and solving skills, reasoning, and implications development, combined with strong business acumen

  • Project management skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks

  • Knowledge of Change Management practices is desirable

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Qualifications

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually bonus benefits
