The Regulatory Reporting team delivers Bank Holding Company regulatory reports in accordance with Federal Reserve requirements for American Express Company and its underlying subsidiaries. We review, analyze and report financial information predominantly using the automated Regulatory Reporting Delivery (RRD) platform. We collaborate with multiple teams across Finance and Technology as well as the external regulators.

This role in Regulatory Reporting will focus on supporting the Company’s transition from a Category 4 Bank to a Category 2 Bank.

How will you make an impact in this role?

This individual will be responsible for the following activities as part of the wider Fast Forward initiative, a multi-year effort that will require collaboration across a wide stakeholder base. Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Primarily support the Capital & SCCL workstreams in conjunction with the project milestone goals.

  • Review detailed instructions for various reports and ensure compliance with the Federal Reserve requirements.

  • Work cross-functionally to define/build changes to existing reports as well as the new SCCL (single counterparty credit limit) report as the Company transitions to a Cat 3/2 bank.

  • Provide business requirements, support the AET build, conduct UAT, provide sign-off for implementation.

  • Create position papers/interpretation memo’s & other key documentation material.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience in Finance.

  • Working knowledge of US GAAP accounting and reporting.

  • Exhibits organizational skills with the ability to meet critical deadlines and manage. multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Good communication and relationship/collaboration skills.

  • Self-motivated and proactive.

  • Desire to learn, curious.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in External Reporting desired.

  • Bachelor’s in Finance.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
