The Chief Technology Officer Organization’s vision is to raise the bar for technical excellence, talent, strategy, and standards across Technology. It also seeks to cultivate and foster technical innovation, as well as elevate and amplify the technical heartbeat of the organization.

The Digital Workplace Product Management organization is leading a transformation in all Digital Workplace software development operating model by implementing and scaling Agile standards across the organization and centering how we lead around a product mindset. This role will report to the product transformation director and will be responsible for building and delivering on the transformation strategy as well as the plan for the key components that support the strategy. On any given day you may be working with leaders and their teams to develop agile ways of working across all phases of product development, leading agile ceremonies, community building, selecting and implementing standardized tools, creating impactful presentations, designing a communications plan, and conducting colleague trainings. The role will also be responsible for creating strong partnerships throughout Digital Workplace and American Express to ensure that the most valuable Colleagues are brought along on the journey. You will determine the most effective channels and continually measure impact of the transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver executive-level and stakeholder presentations, elevating the product teams unified messages to drive decisions and accelerate agile decision making

  • Manage transformation priorities and goals to the Digital Workplace product teams in effort to align roadmaps across organizations

  • Identify opportunities to drive a culture of design thinking, continuous innovation, and discovery within the product delivery lifecycle while elevating customer journeys

  • Work with customers, key stakeholders, and partners to define a product vision and roadmap for the DW organization

  • Understand and apply new trends and competitive best practices into product road mapping and requirements gathering

  • Support development of appropriate tracking and reporting to determine product performance

  • Lead the creation and activation of inclusive product design trainings and learning and development activities

  • Position requires a willingness to continuously learn and implement groundbreaking design, product, and processes within a dynamic and highly matrixed environment

Desired Skills

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a previous Product role

  • Excellent verbal & written communication

  • Ability to translate business requirements to product deliverables

  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies

  • Very strong story telling skills through PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated ability to self-start, carve opportunities out of ambiguity, and operate with a high degree of independence.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills; ability to build relationships, influence decisions and make things happen without direct authority.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
