Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in providing payments solutions for Small, Medium and Large businesses. GCS Global Marketing team is responsible for attracting, retaining, and engaging new and existing customers, with the guiding objective to Serve our Customers the Right Treatment, at the Right Moment and the Right Margins.

The Marketing Tech & Execution Capabilities (MTEC) team is responsible for ensuring that we allocate the technology resources necessary to deliver GCS Marketing business priorities and transforming our enterprise execution capabilities to enable faster and more efficient go-to-market processes.

The Marketing Tech & Execution Capabilities Team is seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing Capabilities Planning who will manage annual and iterative planning by developing a transparent planning model and providing centralized support to GCS Marketing. This person will be responsible for navigating the Enterprise Tech Planning Process and driving prioritization across GCS Marketing roadmap. To support these efforts, the team partners effectively with numerous stakeholders across product and technology teams to build new products for our customers. We also work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to support strategic decision making for the business.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support portfolio management by working with stakeholders across Marketing to identify priority tech demands.

  • Develop and run annual planning process for GCS Marketing.

  • Manage intake method for new technology demand, both through annual & iterative planning processes, consulting with colleagues to assess their requests and escalate through leadership forums for prioritization/tradeoffs where needed.

  • Create regular status reporting for Executive Leadership to reflect progress against the GCSM ATL Priorities and understand drivers of status.

  • Facilitate roadmap sessions as needed to support leadership decision-making and ongoing prioritization. (conversations for potential tradeoff decisions and ongoing prioritization).

  • Lead efforts to improve cross BU collaboration across shared Tech Priorities, creating process to enable Enterprise BIDs.

  • Partner with Marketing to address any Business Health inquiries and work with GCS Tech Portfolio Management and IP to determine Business Health EPICs to be leveraged for platform teams.

  • Define Roles & Responsibilities across NEW GCSM Tech Landscape (MTEC, Marketing, NPD, GCS IP).

  • Identifying common pain points, recommending fixes (in scope for what's in our scope) or sharing with key partner teams (the pain points that impact them).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Highly motivated individual with excellent collaboration and influence management skills

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to drive work forward with minimal supervision

  • Detail oriented with the ability to understand complex processes and translate them effectively to business partners across the organization

  • 5 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with American Express Annual Tech Planning process

  • Comfort with technology, and ability to understand business and customer needs and translate into high-level tech requirements

  • Working style that is resourceful and adaptable to changing needs in a fast-paced environment

  • Manage effectively through ambiguity and evolving strategies while maintaining customer focus

  • Communicate complex topics clearly across multiple stakeholders, including Technologies, Product, Marketing and Executive Leadership

We are currently seeking candidates for this position who are available to work in a hybrid model based out of our New York City office. Only applicants who meet this requirement will be considered.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits
