Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive the strategic direction and execution of payer marketing, access, and policy initiatives for our industry-leading oncology portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering portfolio performance, evolving our contracting, access and policy strategies, and investing in the growth, success, and well-being of our people to support the achievement of our objectives.
The Associate Vice President, Payer Marketing, Access & Policy will be responsible for driving revenue preservation and market access for our oncology portfolio, including our existing products, partnerships and alliances, and new pipeline products. You will also play an important role in informing business development opportunities. This role is responsible for navigating complexity related to the external policy environment and building our access and pricing strategies to evolve with the external landscape. This includes planning and execution around products selected for price control as part of the Inflation Reduction Act, state Prescription Drug Affordability Boards, Medicare, Medicaid, and 340b, while planning for the loss of exclusivity of key assets (LOE).
This role will collaborate extensively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Marketing, Integrated Account Management (IAM), Finance, the Washington DC Office, Commercial Contract Management (CCM), Business Development (BD), Global Market Access (GMAX), Global Marketing, Legal, Compliance, State Government Affairs, and strategic alliance partners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing a high-performing organization of approximately 25 employees and ensuring the right organizational support to meet our business needs into the future.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver Portfolio Performance:
Drive budgeted sales, gross to net (GTN), and leveraged operating incomegrowth across our US oncology portfolio.
Maximize profitable access for inline brands, focusing on high-complexityindications and new indication launches.
Set a strong foundation for strategic alliances and deliver on milestones.
Prepare for future launches, competitive entries, and lifecycle management.
Inform BD opportunities and clinical prioritization to broaden our pipeline.
- Evolve Commercialization Model:
Realize benefits from customer experience modernization, leveraging digital,data, and analytics capabilities.
Enhance customer-facing teams' ability to communicate compelling value stories.
Drive transparency, prioritization, and simplification through optimization ofQuarterly Business Reviews (QBR) and Objectives & Key Results (OKR).
Build contracting and competitive response capabilities for the oncology portfolio.
Advance policy & market access efforts to improve patient access, affordability,and support a competitive market for innovative products.

Education:
Bachelor's degree required
Master's degree preferred
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 15 years of pharmaceutical business experience, including accountmanagement, marketing, payer or related fields.
Deep knowledge of market access strategies for oncology products
Experience with US Market Access / Pricing
Experience navigating US Regulatory, policy & commercial dynamics
Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to analyze andpresent complex data clearly to executive-level audiences.

Strong commercial leadership experience with P&L management.

Effective management in multi-layered leadership structures and complex cross-functional teams.
