Job Description

Position Purpose

  • The Director of Labeling Sourcing Oversight is responsible for the leadership and oversight of contracted Suppliers that support any of the global end-to-end labeling process to ensure a robust high-quality and compliant supplier management program.

P rimary Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of an effective Supplier management program that operates in compliance with corporate quality policies and procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements and industry guidance:

  • Define and manage appropriate supplier activities

  • Evaluate performance of suppliers through monthly metrics, on-site and remote audits as appropriate

  • Conduct Supplier quality management activities and evaluate performance of suppliers through on-site and remote audits as appropriate

  • Participate in the Internal audit program and the performance of internal audits

  • Assist Quality Control & production departments in the evaluation of quality supplier issues using statistical & problem-solving techniques to determine root cause, implement corrective & preventive actions and improve processes

  • Partner in the resolution of quality issues by initiating effective interdepartmental communication.

Qualification, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or medically-related discipline required. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical experience or relevant professional experience with a focus on product labeling or regulatory affairs as well as supplier management experience.

  • Experience leading teams, driving consensus and results and effectively bringing teams together for common objectives.

  • Detail oriented, well organized, high project management skills.

  • Proven ability to capture knowledge and share within the organization; improves solutions, processes, and deliverables through use of information; improves information capital by contributing experience, theories, deliverables and models for others to use.

  • Must have proven track record to be able to think critically, strategically, independently and problem solve.

  • Must have high level of motivation, drive, and demonstration of the Company's leadership values.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to write clearly and concisely.

  • Top notch interpersonal skills in difficult situations.

  • Driver of change and innovation.

  • Ability to work seamlessly with all levels of personnel.

  • Demonstrated sensitivity and knowledge of cultural differences with experience in multi-country, multi-cultural environments and demonstrated success with cross-geographically based cultural collaborations.

  • Excellent word processing, sharepoint, excel, e-mail, and online meeting tool skills.
