The Cloud Solutions Architect – Digital Product Solutions is a role within IDEX’s Enterprise Business Systems team that is as much of a strategy development and mentoring role as it is a learning role. You will play a critical aspect in understanding day-to-day challenges of our digital product development teams offering your experience to assist in the development and execution of digital product innovation across a range of domains, including: infrastructure and architecture; software development; security and governance; maintenance; and scalability. You will work closely alongside diverse teams of engineers and technology experts to assess, recommend, and prioritize activities and investments to help deliver scalable and secure digital platforms that advance IDEX’s digital journey. A successful candidate will act as both coach and contributor to deliver solutions that allow our business to realize excellence.
What You Will Do
Lead discovery sessions with business units to identify business pains & objectives
Facilitate architectural discussions to understand and scope business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
Develop strategies, policies and best practices for deploying, managing, and securing cloud-based solutions
Advise business units on building scalable, fault-tolerant enterprise architectures
Lead the design and oversee the deployment of all aspects of IoT cloud solutions, including custom applications, IOT/big data applications, security, and identity/access management
Engage closely with the business units to design and implement MVP solutions to expedite and validate digital value proposition
What We Look For
Practical, hands-on experience in the architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of multi-tenant, highly distributed applications
Fluency with and ability to communicate the ROI of various solution architectures
Familiarity with networking and data security in both cloud-native and hybrid environments
Experience with variety of data storage and access technologies (SQL, NoSQL, timeseries, streaming, data lake)
Experience with a mature SDLC across Dev, Test, QA, and Production environments
Experience with cloud-delivery using infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
Hands-on experience with modern development technologies including microservices, containers, messaging
Understanding of and willingness to cultivate and foster maturity throughout a DevSecOps culture
Understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
5+ years recent experience in in one of the following: enterprise architecture, software design/development, or infrastructure/systems management
Track record of success delivering small, medium and/or enterprise scale solutions, and proven ability to prioritize, self-direct, and execute at velocity
Proven background in repeatable implementation and deploy models
General knowledge of identity management and role assignments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly when engaging with teams
Possess an appreciation for learning emerging cloud technology and derive satisfaction from problem solving.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent (Masters preferred)
5+ years leading the design, development and deployment of enterprise scale cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure required
3+ year project management experience (PMO certification preferred)
Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect preferred

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $120,500.00 - $180,700.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
