HCA Florida West Marion Hospital, A Part ofHCA Florida Ocala Hospital opened in 2002 to meet the healthcare needs of the growing population of West Marion County. Our 186-bed hospital features all private rooms and offers a full-service emergency room, as well as Marion County’s only inpatient Orthopedic Joint Care Center.
Our medical services include an array of surgical procedures, radiological services, urologic treatments, inpatient wound care for chronic wounds and a variety of outpatient services.
The Registered Nurse is responsible to Charge Nurse and Nursing Director for the delivery of quality patient care utilizing the nursing process. The quality of care given will be in keeping with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and the Department of Nursing and will maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families and the community.
The Registered Nurse prescribes, delegates and coordinates all nursing care provided throughout the hospital. The RN supervises patient care support personnel. The RN is responsible for meeting all standards associated with performance, nursing practice and nursing care.
- 2 year Associates Degree required
- FL RN Licensure required or obtained within 90 days of hire if licensed with applicable RN Compact Licensure
- BLS
