Fresenius Medical Care North America Project Manager in Ogden, Utah

Project Manager, Fresenius USA Manufacturing, Inc., a Fresenius Medical Care N.A. company, Ogden, Utah

Responsible for improving existing distribution processes and ensuring that the new products, features and technologies are accounted for in the operation of an effective and efficient distribution process. Specific duties will include:

  • Facilitating the definition of distribution project objectives and budget in collaboration with senior management, project sponsors, and other key stakeholders.

  • Drafting and maintaining accurate and comprehensive project documentation.

  • Determining the key performance metrics and measures upon which each project will be evaluated during execution and upon its completion.

  • Ensuring project deliverables and products undergo appropriate levels of testing and meet quality standards and expectations.

  • Ensuring the project governance plan is implemented throughout the project, and monitoring and controlling the effectiveness of plan.

  • Coordinating efforts of resources required to successfully implement complex project goals and objectives within timeline and budgets.

Requirements :

Position requires either (i) a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or a closely related field and 6 years of experience managing process improvement projects in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or (ii) a Master’s degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or a closely related field and 4 years of experience managing process improvement projects in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Must also have 4 years of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with either of the primary experience requirements above) working with the following:

  • Project management methodologies (Lean, Six-Sigma or Scrum);

  • Design of Experiments, process mapping, process improvements, baseline as is state to new designed state;

  • Managing scope, quality, cost, deliverables, and all timelines associated with given projects and aligning stakeholders to expectations and support factors; and

  • MS business suite including Excel, PPT and Project.

Must have strong presentation and communication skills. This position requires 25% domestic and international travel.
