Lockheed Martin F-35 Pilot Gear Field Engineer in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Description: Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team as an F-35 Pilot Gear Field Engineer at our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma location. The F-35 Pilot Gear Field Engineer shall sustain and perform limited maintenance and repairs on the F-35 Joint Service Aircrew Mask (JSAM) and the above and below the neck ensemble (jacket, trousers, coveralls, boots, gloves, etc.) necessary to support F-35 field operations in accordance with the US Government approved JSAM-Joint Strike Fighter and Chemical-Biological Joint Technical Data.

The position will be located at the F-35 Pilot Gear Warehouse & Distribution facility which will provide logistics services, centralized storage, distribution and limited repair activity to sustain the Joint Service Aircrew Mask (JSAM) and above and below the neck ensemble (jacket, trousers, coveralls, boot, gloves, etc.).

Required: Must be US Citizen. Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Must possess a current drivers license.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

• Four (4) years experience in the following skillsets:

• Experience performing limited maintenance and repairs on military aircraft life support equipment (similar to Joint Service Aircrew Mask (JSAM) and above and below the neck ensemble - jacket, trousers, coveralls, boots, gloves, etc.) to support F-35 field operations in accordance with the USG approved JSAM-Joint Strike Fighter and Chem-Bio Joint Technical Data.

• Experience with aircraft component repair process and management;

• Experienced user of MS Office computer programs to accomplish reports, logs and briefings.

Desired Skills:

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the others:

• Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field.

• Good communication skills both oral and written.

• Excellent customer relations/liaison skills.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
