Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Champion Hotels. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

The General Manager must be responsible for the success and profit of the hotel and inhouse restaurants and bar to uphold Marriott Standards. Be able to exceed all objectives set by the company and brand to achieve maximum results in revenue, profit, and guest satisfaction. Ability to Hire and train a staff to provide exemplary performance. Responsible for all overall operations for the hotel including, but not limited to, responding to all needs of the hotel whether it may be covering responsibilities or duties to responding to emergency situations to actively engaging in the community. You will plan short-term, long-term, and day-to-day operations of your property. Your daily activities may involve conflict resolution, guiding your team to reach new goals, and providing necessary business reports to the corporate office. You will have the full support of your corporate team just a phone call or email away!

Ensure that all hotel departments achieve or exceed guest's service expectations.

Analyze operational information on an ongoing basis to adjust business plans, labor requirements, and operating costs for food and beverage outlets.

Ability to obtain a local liquor sales license.

Knowledge of point of sales systems.

Ensure hotel staff and restaurant staff is trained in financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables and that these procedures are regularly followed

Identifies major revenue and expense opportunities and possible problems

Assist team leaders in meeting and exceeding Quality goals.

Develop plans to maximize REVPAR and Market Share

Periodically inspect rooms, building exterior, parking lot, etc.

Manage human resources functions including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, training, and disciplinary actions

and payroll submission.

Pay is based upon experience.
