Job Purpose and Impact
The U.S. Domestic Soybean Meal Lead will provide leadership to our teams that merchandise our Soybean Meal (SBM) for our US Soy Processing business. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and executing the cash merchandising game plan, engage with important customers and drive execution of the US Soy Crush strategy. buy and sell commodities from and to country elevators, producers, feed mills and processors. In this role, you will set the direction for a supplier base and fulfill transactions, delivering commodities that meet production requirements and specifications in terms of timing, volume, quantity and cost.
Key Accountabilities
Guide cross-functional coordination to ensure successful execution of overall soy crush game plan.
Lead team of merchants to develop the short or long term strategies for one commodity or market.
Coordinate and review market, positions and profit and loss reports for the US Soy Crush business.
Provide oversight to risk positions and develop corresponding strategies
Maintain and develop strategic customer relationships, drive customer driven culture into organization.
You will provide strategic leadership, development and talent management for direct reports and their organization, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also coordinate subordinate managers and supervisors in selecting staff to align with current and future needs of the organization.
Lead cross-functional strategic projects and initiatives in alignment with the business plan.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership of merchandising or trading teams in related areas
Demonstrated experience in fostering and developing strategic customer relationships
Strong breadth of merchandising exposure; IE, multiple product lines or multiple disciplines
Demonstrated success in leading projects and strategic initiatives
