Lockheed Martin Senior Assembler in Oldsmar, Florida
Description: Lockheed Martin Oldsmar is looking for an experienced solder touch up operator to work in our Surface Mount (SMT) Circuit Card Assembly area. Individual will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with soldering surface mount (SMT) and through hole components to PWBs
-Demonstrated ability to operate and interpret Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) data
-Uses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering and perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up
-Must be able to sit for long periods of time and focus on tedious tasks
- Must be able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components
-Able to identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts / leads, tombstoned and or billboarded components and any out solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation.
Desired Skills:
-Experience operating X-ray equipment for solder defects on BGAs and bottom-terminated parts
-Ability to move between areas where additional manufacturing is required such as bonding, mechanical assembly, and wiring are required in addition to soldering

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
