Position Summary:

The Sr Manager-Business Services and Standards is responsible for the following for all work within the Supply Chain Systems and Solutions scope of responsibility.

  • Maintain and Sustain the Standards on Standards framework performing governance review process and facilitate quarterly reviews to report on the health of standards supported within Supply chain

  • Supporting Project Deployments by providing budget input, hiring resources, and managing the contracting team’s progress.

  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of the business, key business processes, key business impacts/changes and related skill requirements.

  • Continuously seeking to use external benchmarking and standard methodology in the development of project services

  • Accountable and Responsible for Developing, Maintaining, Implementing & governing Playbooks and Methodology for Project Support as the need arises.

  • Maintain and Sustain customer satisfaction framework and measurement process which will measure, report and put in place corrective actions with respect to services provided.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and Sustain the Standards on Standards Framework governance

a. Continue to mature the Standards on Standards Framework through collaboration with our Standards owners to understand new requirements and recommend and roll out solutions that facilitate awareness to the sectors.

b. Develop, Maintain, Sustain and ensure awareness of the Standards Governance process.

c. Facilitate quarterly meetings to report on the health of Standards

i. Drive adherence to the requirements set in the Standards framework driving consistency and alignment across the E2E Supply Chain.

ii. Ensure that standard documentation follows format and guidelines set.

iii. Verification that required reviews and trainings have been performed for all existing standards maintained within the framework.

2. Support Project Deployments

a. Assist Deploy Excellence Team with project cost estimates.

b. Assist Project Teams with identifying capable resources from internal or external sources from approved vendors and assist with onboarding as required.

c. Monitor projects to ensure they are following standard methodology. Recommend corrective steps to resolve issues. Advance issues, if required.

d. Work with partners to develop objectives, curriculum and courseware which will ensure a consistent adoption and operation of project objectives.

e. Support projects day-to-day in a lead role, if required due to resourcing constraints.

3. Maintain and Evolve the service delivery model through innovative and lean methodologies

a. Leverage external benchmarking and standard process to identify innovative methodologies for programs and standards development.

b. Apply the Lessons Learned process to identify improvements to methodology.

c. Seek to collaborate with Team members to understand and anticipate emerging requirements.

4. Govern Internal and External Facing Standards repositories

a. Sustain Internal and External Knowledge Standards repositories process ensuring content is current and reflects current practices within the organization.

b. Develop and Implement automation opportunities to maintain and sustain with minimal resource demands.

5. Serve as Functional Lead for site-based co-ops

a. Provide mentoring to co-ops by provide guidance and advice for future success in the workplace.

b. Coordinate Year End Presentations & Performance Calibration

c. Alignment with Business Planning Lead on yearly Business Planning for Co-Ops

d. Conduct recruiting and interview sessions for future co-ops at local universities

Qualifications

Education :

A minimum of a Bachelor’s or equivalent University degree is required.

Required:

  • A minimum of 8 years relevant work experience

  • Ability to build strong collaborative partnerships across all teams within Standards and with customer groups including conflict resolution and facilitation skills.

  • Experience in system deployments and measuring the ongoing health of the systems.

  • Expertise in Solution validation and standards within Supply Chain

  • Functional knowledge of/and experience in systems within Supply Chain.

  • Knowledge of business processes within Deliver/Plan/Source/Make/Quality execution.

  • Previous experience of working within a support organization with a knowledge of functional and matrix areas.

  • Project leadership/management skills.

  • Showing initiative in innovative approaches to challenges in a fast-paced, changing global environment.

  • Strong experience in working with IT and other Partners in the delivery of robust processes.

  • Solid understanding of data analytics and statistical analysis.

  • Working knowledge of GxP and Sox requirements.

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of PEx & LEAN principles and application

  • CRM

  • Business and financial principles

  • GxP Principles

Other:

  • This position may require up to 25% domestic & international travel

  • Must be fluent in the English language (speak, read & write)

  • This position has an estimated salary of 113,000- 227,000 USD$
