The Associate Director of Events helps to hire, train, manage and coach our team of event planning and event sales managers. This position is the second in command in the Events department and reports to the Area Director of Events and Event Operations. This person is assigned specific administrative and leadership responsibilities that should include supervisory duties over part of the Event planning and Event Sales areas of the department, Administrative Assistants or Trainees, and other responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Director. The Associate Director of Events will also be handling group programs and will service groups and weddings.

Qualifications:
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
3 years in Hotel Event Sales and/or Event Planning
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Motivated, energetic and positive personality
Geographically mobile
