What does a great Machinist Technician do?
As a Machinist Technician, you will be responsible for manufacturing replacement parts for equipment. Responsible for manufacturing new parts for equipment. Assist with design and manufacturing for new equipment.
Independently troubleshoot, repair equipment problems and assist other teams as necessary. Build and repair of sub-assemblies. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Create fixtures to manufacture parts. Repair/replace components. Assist with equipment builds that include wiring, mechanical assembly, documentation, configuration, testing and installation. Perform assigned inventory control duties as directed; accurately log all parts issues. Maintain all manuals, tools and test equipment.
Hiring for Shift Schedule:
2:00 pm to 12:30 am, Monday through Thursday
Basic Qualifications for Consideration :
HS diploma/equivalent required. Associate’s degree is strongly preferred.
CNC Manufacturing knowledge.
Manual mill/lathe manufacturing knowledge.
Understanding and knowledge of CNC G-code.
Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Electronics
Minimum 18 months as a Technical Engineer or equivalent work experience required.
Strong machining skills
Ability to configure CNC mill/lathe equipment.
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings/prints
Strong mechanical aptitude
Electronic troubleshooting experience
Solidworks knowledge preferred.
MasterCam knowledge preferred.
