Senior Technical Professional Services Advisor

What does a successful Senior Technical Professional Services Advisor do at Fiserv?

You will provide expert business and technical consultation based on your in-depth understanding of Fiserv products, services, systems, and clients in the financial services domain. You will work with senior management to define and develop technology strategy and process improvements. You will influence other Fiserv departments to generate and offer appropriate solutions.

What you will do:

  • Engage with new clients to create a credit processing solution that includes all the products and services required to meet their business objectives

  • Lead and document the Conversion Discovery Process, identifying and developing solutions to cover gaps in large client conversions

  • Provide client consultation for Fiserv products, services, and system features

  • Consult with senior IT management and clients on the design of complex systems and projects

  • Consult with client and Fiserv executive leadership on platform and system solutions and business impact through the utilization of existing business systems applications

  • Provide support to the Fiserv Sales and Client Relationship organizations

  • Consult and negotiate with clients to achieve favorable outcomes for Fiserv and our clients

  • Gather client requirements for software development that will support the client implementation and conversion

What you will need to have:

  • 8+ years of IT experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows, COBOL, Mainframe applications, IBM JCL, and TSO/TPX

  • 5+ years of experience delivering on architecture and technology needs based on business priorities, strategies, goals, and economic viability

  • 5+ years of analytical experience within both strategic and detailed forums

  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing role and stakeholder management

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience

What would be great to have:

  • 5+ years of conversion experience

  • Understanding of the issuing industry and associated products

  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, including the ability to analyze data from different platforms to integrate the data into a Fiserv platform

  • Experience with Fiserv platforms

  • Night and weekend shifts may be required during implementation and conversion projects
