Hyatt Front Office Supervisor (FT) in ORANGE COUNTY, California

Description:

Supervisors possess strong leadership, communication and relationship skills. They are expected to support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities. This role leads other associates by coaching, giving direction and may include training, scheduling, payroll and interviewing

Front Office Supervisors lead the agents whom are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires.

This full-time hourly position has a starting rate of $26.00/hour.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the oversight of Front Office Hosts, guest registration process, and communication of hotel services and promotions.

  • Strong guest service orientation in order to ensure high guest expectations.

  • This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience.

  • Fast-paced environment that requires continuous standing.

  • Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquiries.

  • Demonstrates Hyatt Values.

  • First contact for guest concerns.

  • Exercises best practices for service recovery.

  • Acts as Manager on Duty in the absence of management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience and a thorough understanding of Front Office operations.
