Description:

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is currently seeking an experienced Configuration Analyst for our Orlando, FL site who will be responsible for proposing changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system, coordinating modification records for management control, establishing change orders and preparing for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor, preparing reports of change effect on overall product, reviewing and analyzing released engineering change data and coordinating changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Configuration Analyst Analyzes you will:

• Manage the planning and execution for the creation of a deliverable technical data package (TDP).

• Develop the deliverable TDP per tailored contract requirements as well as coordinate between integrated product teams as it relates to the deliverable TDP requirements.

• Create and maintain documentation required for organizing the deliverable TDP per contract requirements and ensure program commitments are met and contractual requirements are satisfied.

• Establish the future technical roadmap for TDP maintenance over the life of the program.

• Assist with the program level change board, which includes subcontractor level change board and joint customer change board.

• Help review and analyze engineering change data and track open items to ensure completion of change implementation activities.

• Conduct Status Accounting auditing activities to monitor the relationship between the engineering design of the product and the actual hardware or software.

• Ensure timely release of technical documentation and engineering changes.

Basic Qualifications:

- Active Secret Clearance, with Current 5-year investigation.

- Understanding of DoD standards for technical data package management.

- Experience performing configuration audits and the ability to ensure compliance with customer requirements and configuration management policies.

- Advanced knowledge of engineering drawings, parts lists and other configuration documentation.

- Able to review and analyze released engineering change data and track open items to ensure completion of change implementation activities.

- Experience chairing Engineering Change Boards or Configuration Control Boards (CCB).

- Proven ability in processing CDRLs and SDRLs in accordance with Contracts, Statements of Work, 1423s, and DD250s, all in accordance with the applicable Industry Standards.

Desired Skills:

- Individual must be a self-starter capable of effectively managing multiple tasks.

- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and capable of creating status and tracking reports for management and customers.

- Demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.

- Experience with CM of hardware/software.

- CDM experience in baseline documentation release and Configuration Item identification, including serialization and IUID requirements.

- Experience using product lifecycle management tools or systems, and manufacturing resource planning tools or systems.

- Knowledge of and experience with logistics, sustainment, or depot repair maintenance.

- Familiarity with markings, formatting and handling of documentation.

- Knowledge of data rights assertions and applications.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Advance knowledge with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
