The Opportunity

This position works out of our Livermore CA or Orlando, FL location in the Abbott Heart Failure, Acelis

Connected Health business. Our Heart Failure solutions are helping address some of the World’s

greatest healthcare challenges. The main purpose of this role is to ensure that customer orders are processed timely. Daily review of orders that need processing support, product maintenance and updates, monitoring inventory levels,

and making inventory buying decisions.

What You’ll Work On

• Works daily reports to ensure all orders are fulfilled.

• Follow up with vendors on back-order items.

• Obtains approval to substitutes like items to fulfill orders.

• Trouble shoot orders in the system as necessary.

• Cancels orders when necessary

• Follows up on lost orders and creates RMA’s when necessary.

• Add, edit, or update product information.

• Create purchase orders as needed to restock Livermore and/or Gainesville warehouse

• Adhere to the department metric standards set by your supervisor or manager.

• Create and / or modify POs as needed

• Assist with implementation of workflow productivity improvements.

• Assist in training new hires.

• Follow up on escalations related to supply orders

• Follow all regulatory policies and procedures, privacy and security standards in accordance with Government agencies to include HIPAA requirements.

• Understand and adhere to all business processes and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum of one year of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work history

• Knowledge with Excel

• Spanish Speaking Preferred

• Some data processing experience preferred.

• Capability of typing 40 wpm

• MS Office knowledge

The base pay for this position is $20.60 – $41.20 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
