Lockheed Martin Cyber Software Engineer in Orlando, Florida

Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Cyber Software Engineer for a position in Orlando FL supporting the Cybersecurity Technology Center. and SiAW program. The candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in some of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control’s highly innovative and ingenious solutions to complex technical problems facing the aerospace industry. You will leverage your technical, leadership and interpersonal skills in a structured team framework and work in a cross-functional engineering Team environment.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, document, test, and maintain solutions for the Anti-Tamper and/or Cybersecurity domains.

• Conducts vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and penetration testing (red/blue teams) to validate solutions.

• Develops and integrates low-level firmware, and/or develops specialized cyber software solutions and tools based on mission requirements.

• Applies system knowledge to conduct research to evaluate potential vulnerabilities and develop new capabilities to exploit and/or mitigate vulnerabilities.

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of five Lockheed Martin business areas. MFC is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies. MFC also offers a wide range of products and services for the global civil nuclear power industry and the military’s green power initiatives. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science, or higher, in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent combined education.

• Must currently hold a Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.

• Foundational experience or knowledge in the fields of Cybersecurity and/or Anti-Tamper

• Experience with C/C++ development.

• Experience with development lifecycle models (examples include Waterfall Model, Spiral Model, Agile Model)

• Experience with real-time, embedded operating systems ( examples: RT Linux, RTOS, VxWorks, Redhawk).

• Experience with integration of hardware and software.

• DoD 8570 approved baseline certification for IAT Level II (IE CompTIA Security+, GSEC SSCP, CCNA-Security) or the ability to pursue a certification within 6 months.

• Strong communication and teaming skills to collaborate across multi-functional teams.

Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, be well organized, flexible, and self-motivated.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with cyber tabletops and evaluations

• Experience with reverse engineering and penetration testing(Red/Blue teaming)

• Experience with vulnerability remediation.

• Experience with a software assurance measures and secure coding.

• Experience with HWIL (Hardware in the Loop)

• Good understanding of NSA-approved cryptographic standards and methods.

• Good understanding of Cybersecurity principles and the Risk Management Framework

Experience with cryptography implementation
