We are experiencing growth and seeking a Signature Management/Low Observables (LO) Engineer with prior experience in the design, integration, testing, and verification activities associated with the development of complex Low Observable (LO) Surface and Material technologies.

What You Will Be Doing

As the LO Sr Engineer your responsibilities include:

• Analysis and presentations for complex optical or surface and material design activities with LO SMEs and Functional, other LO engineers, Prod Ops, Production, and Customers

• Analysis and Coordination of performance trade studies during the program design phase and analysis of measured data during integration

• Analyze, research, design, and develop materials and their related fabrication and application processes for use in engineering design of and/or application in structures, systems, and subsystems

• Perform requirements development, integration activities, and test data analysis

• Some travel (25% of time) required

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in one of the following fields: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related technical degree and 5 yrs of professional experience, or 3 years of professional experience and a Masters degree.

• Experience with LO system design, integration, testing and verification

• Experience with optical materials and coatings

• Must be a US citizen (no Dual Citizens) and have the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance as this position is located at a facility that requires special access.

**Final Secret is required prior to start.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with RCS Analysis

• Experience with LO materials development

• Active Top Secret security clearance

• Experience with Passive and Active EO IR systems

• Experience with CAMEO/MBSE

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
