Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Planner (level 2) / Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

Works in the Production, Planning and Control organization as a Inventory Analyst, Scheduler, Make, Buy or Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner.

Coordinates with Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time-phased plan for procured parts. Utilizing MRP reports, follow actions in the supply chain to ensure material is ordered and delivered to meet production, the subsequent process of the supply chain. Coordinates pulling materials and processing STOs. Processes RPOs and associated Qnote transactions. Prioritizes receiving inspection.

Coordinate with Hardware Reps / program PP&C to expedite goods receipts of material from receiving and route to end users.

A level 2 employee Typically has 1 - 6 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors and 2+ years of professional level experience or less with a Masters degree

Past experience with Buy Planning, manufacturing and and/or Make Planning experience

Working knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs

Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

Degree from an accredited college in the field such as supply chain management, operations management, or have business SAP ERP experience

Past experience with Buy Planning, Manufacturing and/or Make Planning experience

Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.

Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing

Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)

Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including: experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas

Ability to obtain Green belt certification

Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists

ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification

Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs

Very good organization and communication skills

Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
