Lockheed Martin Procurement Subcontract Manager in Orlando, Florida
Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Procurement Subcontract Manager for a position in Orlando, FL to oversee Subcontract / Purchase Order placement and administration within the Air Dominance programs. Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for DOD and international programs. Work is performed without appreciable direction. Effects of decisions are long lasting and heavily influence future course of organization. Duties include:
Prepares bid packages.
Analyzes and evaluates proposals.
Selects or recommends subcontractors.
Performs price analysis, use of cost evaluations for development of pre-negotiation strategies.
Leads negotiations and completion of subcontract / PO documentation, invoice reconciliation and payment.
Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
Interfaces with government clients, technical personnel and other functional organizations.
Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams (SMT/IPT).
Leads team to develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of innovation and follow through.
Works with program management and other areas of the business for timely conclusion of contract matters and resolution of issues.
This position will require travel.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within Defense or Aerospace industries
Thorough knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP), with associated knowledge of FAR / DFAR requirements
Strong demonstrated negotiation skills
Working knowledge of standard contract types
Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with SAP based procurement system
Team oriented with demonstrated organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters which often requires coordination between functional organizations
Demonstrated problem solving skills

Proficiency in Procure to Pay P2P (SAP) procurement systems
