Lockheed Martin Software Quality Engineer (SQE) Staff - Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

Description: Join our dynamic team at Lockheed Martin, Missiles and Fire Control (MFC), where we lead the way in high-performance air and missile defense, air-to-air capabilities, precision fires, close combat solutions, sustainment, sensors, strike systems, and energy storage innovations. We are dedicated to providing our military and civilian customers with cutting-edge products and services during critical moments.

Lockheed Martin is currently looking for a talented Software Quality Engineer Staff to join our team in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining Systems and Software Quality Engineering processes that adhere to AS9100 Quality Management System standards, as well as program and customer requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

-Technical Engineering degree preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering

-Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance

-Experience with product development phases

-Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques

Software Quality or Engineering experience in Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration and Test

-Experience with verification and validation processes

-Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration

Desired Skills:

-Corrective Action Board (Process, Command Media, corrective action , preventive action, Root Cause Analysis)

-Experience driving strategies resulting in the strengthening the Software Quality Management Systems both at internal sites and at key software suppliers

-Experience with presentation & problem solving skills

-Experience working with

Government customers and stakeholders

-Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

-Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)

-ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CSQ) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)

-Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality Systems/Models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit (AS9100, ISO9001)

-Experience with development, production, and sustainment

-SAP

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
