Lockheed Martin Subcontract Management Senior - Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

Description: Lockheed Martin (LM) is seeking a Subcontract Manager Senior for Subcontract Management and Purchase Order placement in support of the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) program.

In this role, the Subcontract Manager Senior will be responsible for (1) the management of supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on a procurement team, (2) holding procurement delegation as well as signing supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority, (3) lead the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of Program requirements, and (4) prepare requests for proposal packages, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

This position will also require soliciting, placement, and management of JASSM Ramp Tooling needed for JASSM to achieve higher production rates; Large Lot Procurement (LLP), long-term agreements, negotiation, and implementation. The assigned subcontracts could potentially include foreign as well as domestic US suppliers. This position holds procurement management and delegation responsibility for all applicable supplier agreements and contracts within established authority. These subcontracts are in support of US Department of Defense prime contracts. Duties include:

Preparing bid and proposal requests.

Analyzing and evaluating supplier proposals.

Sourcing selection decisions, as applicable.

Performing price analysis.

Using cost evaluations to develop pre-negotiation strategies.

Leading team negotiations as well as subcontract documentation and compliance.

Supporting Program Supplier Assessment Survey (SAS) events.

Ensuring all post-award subcontract management functions, including cost, schedule, and technical performance, invoice reconciliation and approval, negotiating modifications to subcontracts, interface with government / customer clients, and interface with program and functional management teams and other functional organizations.

Leading multi-functional subcontract management teams (SMT) including procurement, engineering, supplier quality, and business management team members.

Resolving complex problems in a very demanding and dynamic environment.

Meeting challenging affordability goals set by customers for continuous cost reductions.

Work is performed without appreciable management direction.

The effects of decisions are long-lasting and heavily impact the future course of the programs and the organization.

This position requires working on-site three days per week.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or

university or equivalent experience / combined

education.

Ability to obtain a Full Secret security clearance (not

required to start).

Experience in procurement processes including

Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense

Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR & DFAR)

Experience preparing and delivering

presentations.

Excellent communication and relationship

building skills to enable effective relationships

with Suppliers, Engineering, IPT leads, Program

Management, and Customers.

Ability and willingness to travel to supplier

facilities to participate in meetings and to resolve

subcontract / program issues on-site, as needed.

Able to lead groups in problem-solving.

Desired Skills:

DOD Proposal and TINA Negotiation experience

Strong skills to create and present utilizing Microsoft Office tools

Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between functional organizations

Active Interim Secret clearance

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
