Your Mission:
As part of the Enterprise Business Digital Transformation team at our Orlando, FL facility, this exciting position offers you the opportunity to support various high-profile programs in a challenging, fast-paced, and secure environment. Seize this opportunity to join our elite team of IT professionals driving the success of our Enterprise Classified Private Cloud initiative! As a key player, you will be instrumental in flattening both SAP and SCI network environments, ensuring the highest level of security and efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Guaranteeing that all IT systems comply with Lockheed Martin and Department of Defense policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Spearheading systems engineering, routine updates, major upgrades, ongoing maintenance, and support for hyper converged infrastructure (HCI), virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Storage Area Networks (SAN), data protection appliances, and other peripherals.
• Utilizing your troubleshooting skills to provide swift and effective solutions to complex problems, consistently demonstrating ingenuity and creativity.
• Ensuring vulnerability scanning/patching and adherence to the Risk Management Framework.

Like Fridays off? This role is scoped on a 4x10 Schedule (Mon-Thur)! However, all work must be performed on-site, and will include some off-shift hours, weekends, and occasional travel. The position also will support a 24 X 7 weekly on-call rotation schedule.

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience as a Systems Engineer, System Administrator, Virtualization Administrator, and/or Cybersecurity Engineer
• Significant experience and technical expertise with Linux Operating Systems
• Top Secret Clearance, with the ability and willingness to obtain CI Poly and Special Access Program (SAP) access (last periodic review (PR) must be within the last 6 years)
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certifications (e.g., Security+, CASP, CISSP, etc.)
Desired Skills:
• At least 5 years of experience working in environments supporting Linux based distributions and tools, primarily Red Hat Enterprise Linux (SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, CentOS, Photon, etc.)
• Experience with Scripting and Automation (e.g., Ansible, Python, BASH, Perl, PowerShell, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
• Experience with Linux identity management solutions
• Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Requirements, Security Requirements Guidelines (SRGs), and/or experience maintaining secure classified environments.
• Experience working with Classified Customer Communities
• Experience with Virtualization (e.g. VMware, KVM, Azure, etc)
• Experience integrating Linux with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (e.g. 2019, 2022, Win10, Win11, etc.)
• Experience with Network Protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc.)
• Knowledge of Endpoint Security, Vulnerability Remediation, Intrusion Detection Systems, Intrusion Prevent Systems, and Compliance software (e.g., McAfee ePO, SCAP Scanner, Nessus, etc.)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
