Total Rewards: * Health Insurance (Medical, Dental & Vision) starting Day 1! * 401 (k) Retirement Plan * Paid Time Off Shifts: * Day shift available * 8-hour shifts (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) operating Monday through Friday The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of our facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure smooth operations and a safe working environment. * Responsibilities: * Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines, and General Electric * Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. * Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. * Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. * Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. * Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. * Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed * Must be able to perform maintenance functions in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on mechanical and electrical repair. * Must be able to work overtime as required. * Must be a self-motivated skilled trades professional. * Positive, team focused attitude. * Experience troubleshooting/repairing and wiring 3 phase motors * Experience with pneumatics * Experience troubleshooting/repairing and replacing VFD’s (not required but a plus!) * Working with HMI and PLC controls * Qualifications and Education: * High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field preferred. * Proven experience, 2 – 3 years, as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial setting. * Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. * Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems efficiently and perform effective repairs. * Proficient in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Flexibility to work overtime as needed. * Previous experience with SAP or another CMMS system is a plus * Previous experience in food manufacturing is a plus / The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by team members assigned to this position.
