Role Summary Contributes to planning, management, and execution of assigned elements of internal/external sponsorship events in alignment with organizational policy and quality standards. May lead sponsorship events that are moderately complex in nature. Provides guidance on event marketing tactics and the use of engagement tools to enhance the client experience and drive data. Continues to develop industry experience and may contribute to the development of the event planning and management strategy for the client segment/subregion. May review work completed by less experienced professionals for accuracy and alignment with company standards and advises on improvements.

Responsibilities:

May consult on event sponsorship opportunities, deliverables and budget . Areas of focus below but not limited to:

  • Sponsorship activation and execution

  • Trade show inventory

  • Show services requirements.

  • Fulfillment and planning

  • Manages merchandise inventory

  • Standard event equipment and tools

  • Strategizing , leveraging and when required developing branding initiatives to ensure maximum brand visibility and recognition.

  • Delivers c onsistent experience across sponsorship engagements

  • Coordinat es with marketing and communications team to ensure brand consistency and alignment with bigger picture marketing goals and strategy.

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key sponsors, partners, and stakeholders .

  • Maintaining records of event and sponsorship activities, including budgets, contracts, and debriefs.

  • Ability to leverage multiple technology platforms to plan, execute and measure sponsorship success

  • Negotiates moderately complex event contracts and completes expense management, budget reconciliation, and event analysis as required . Measures event participant/invitee/stakeholder engagement and contributes to the development of reports for management. Ensures the accurate execution of contracts in compliance with established agreements.

  • Works directly with the event sponsor to document the event goal, responsibilities, budget, timeline, schedule, etc., and communicates these details with broader event team. Depending on the event complexity, either leads or supports on-site event execution. Provides guidance on the use of engagement tools to enhance the client experience and drive data.

  • Continues to develop industry, market, segment, and client knowledge and integrates research to understand industry trends, market climates and competitive activities. May provide input on the development of the event planning strategy for the respective business unit/region.

  • Continues to develop relationships with legal, compliance, and other contacts within the organization to ensure events are evaluated and found to be in compliance with firm and regulatory requirements. Monitors event alignment with common policies and business unit-specific criteria and requirements.

    Qualifications: Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

  • 2+ years of total relevant work experience.

  • Limited local and regional travel based on event scope

  • Owings Mills based

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
