Overview

Engineers in T. Rowe Price’s Distribution & Marketing Services – Individual Investor’s organization are playing a key role in helping build the future of financial services, working hand-in-hand with business partners to build client experiences that are changing the way people invest. We want technologists with a new perspective who are passionate about solving business, data and technical challenges. You will build groundbreaking, next-generation applications for n-tier cloud architectures.

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer who has a passion, vision and technical acumen to help lead strategic initiatives and meet the needs of the business. You’ll be hands-on coding through the entire development lifecycle with Angular or React, lightweight Java microservices, Adobe Experience Manager, cloud computing, and highly resilient software services.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience who will:

  • Lead significant areas of development within the development lifecycle

  • Contribute to code reviews and provide feedback on others’ designs/code

  • Participate in decisions regarding tactical vs. strategic trade-offs

  • Assist and mentor more junior engineers

    Business Knowledge

  • Experience working directly with business partners

  • Can articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions

    Requirements

  • 5+ years of full stack development experience

  • 3+ years of experience with modern front-end template frameworks for JavaScript – Including React, Angular, and Web Components

  • 2+ years of java development experience

  • 2+ years’ experience implementing technology solutions using AWS cloud technologies

  • Experience developing integrations to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

  • Proficient with server-side development using NodeJS

  • Proficient with version control technologies using SVN & GIT

  • Experience with marketing technology platforms

  • Experience mentoring development teams

  • Expertise designing, developing, deploying, and supporting full stack technology solutions

  • Able to quickly learn new technologies and stay abreast of industry trends

  • Able to work with existing data models and schemas and suggest changes and improvements
