Role Summary

Come join a high-impact team that is focused on building out our marketing technology capabilities across the global enterprise to help drive business growth and market leading client experiences. As a Product Owner, this person will be responsible for working closely with our marketing stakeholders to understand the needs of the markets along with key growth and retention strategies, to build out and execute on a product roadmap to meet those needs and strategic objectives.

The Product Owner will need to apply comprehensive knowledge of clients, the company, products, and regulatory environment to enable the organization with solutions that deliver business results. They will also need to demonstrate a high degree of commercial judgment, providing insights and recommendations on the strategic priorities for marketing enablement. Communication of metrics, milestones, and/or status to stakeholders inside and outside business unit will also be key.

This is a unique opportunity to bridge business needs and technical solutions to help T. Rowe Price progress in digital capability maturity.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Product Vision and Strategy Development —Develops and maintains a clear vision for the enterprise product, including technology, and internal strategic perspectives. Establishes, maintains, and shares the road map for assigned product(s). Contributes to the technical direction. Helps execute the strategic priorities to better reach clients, maximize engagement and deliver business value.

  • Achieves Business Results for Enterprise Product(s) —Partners with the business to define requirements. Through leadership of a cross functional team, which could include marketing, technology, and other business unit subject matter experts, ensures products meet and/or exceed internal client satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency.

  • Stakeholder Management — Leverages data and analysis to communicate and recommend solutions that will improve client experience, execute strategic initiatives, and achieve operational efficiency. Works to develop strong relationships with stakeholders and communicates findings and recommendations to them regularly to drive change and improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

5+ years of total relevant work experience

  • Product Ownership experience in Agile Development methodologies

Preferred

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)

  • Experience in the investment management/financial services industry

  • Experience with Marketing Technology platforms

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders

  • Independent worker

  • Strong problem solver with ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress.

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.

Base salary range:

$83,000 - $141,000 USD
