Who You Are

This role is for a Senior Software Engineer in a group that is responsible for the integration of multiple product lines into cohesive demonstrations in the Skunk Works Integration Facility & Test Center Lab (SWIFT). We will help identify and leverage your strengths and guide you to develop and accelerate your skills on important projects that provide immediate value to our customers. As a member of the Battle Space Integration & Joint All Domain Operations (JADO) Capabilities team, some of the work we do will give you the opportunity to work with and learn about a variety of different state of the art technologies including machine vision, artificial intelligence, crewed uncrewed teaming aircraft (C\\UT).

What You Will Be Doing

The day-to-day expectations of the person in this role is that they will face complex and challenging assignments integrating software and hardware solutions that may require investigation and critical problem solving. Some specific job responsibilities of this role may be classified and will require the applicant to be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development or related degree from an accredited college

• C, C++, Python, JavaScript, Java

• Software development experience in C/C++ on Windows and Linux

Desired Skills:

• Ability to build and maintain relationships collaborate with others, engage in constructive critique and manage interpersonal dynamics

• Experience with software and hardware integration in a lab environment

• File server management, VMWare, Gitlab and/or Kubernetes experience

• Some experience and/or certification in Agile/Scrum(DevSecOps a plus)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $81,000 - $152,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
