We are seeking an energetic and experienced Product Quality Engineer (PQE) to join our team to support the manufacturing of Cyrel®, a family of printing plates used in flexographic technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise in quality assurance and driving continuous improvement in the quality and manufacturability of the Cyrel® products manufactured at our Parlin site in NJ, located approximately 35 miles south of New York City.

Your Key Responsibilities :

• Manage the quality of the assigned Cyrel® product portfolio.

• Assist manufacturing operations in troubleshooting product quality issues during production.

• Lead investigations to determine root causes of manufacturing and product quality issues and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Analyze process and production data to identify areas of improvement for product quality and take corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement.

• Drive continuous improvement in quality systems and performance metrics using statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement tools.

• Support sales by reporting on root cause and corrective actions for investigations of customer quality complaints as required.

• Participate in quarterly product quality review to present product-specific annual performance.

• Support the recertification and activities for ISO 9000 quality management system.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors (or higher) degree in Chemical Engineering or related filed.

• A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in quality engineering role in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Preferred Attributes:

• Professional certification such as Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.

• Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.

• Proficient in SAP or other business enterprise systems (such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Team, TrakSYS, IP21, LIMS JMP, Minitab etc).

• Strong networking, interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of management, personnel, clients, and business representatives.
