Job Description:

Senior Software Develpment Engineer (Grade 20I)

Job Summary

The Senior Software Development Engineer must have skills and experience in web design, development, testing and implementation of web applications. He/She will provide input, support and will perform full systems life cycle management activities. The Senior Software Development Engineer researches and supports the integration of emerging technologies providing knowledge and support for all phases. He/She performs tasks within planned durations and established deadlines. This position collaborates with teams to ensure effective communication in supporting the achievement of objectives.

The Senior Software Development Engineer has 3-4 years' experience developing applications using Angular, jQuery, JavaScript, Java, Spring, and SQL. Experience with on-prem Azure DevOps repos, pipelines. Experience with JFrog, SonarQube, OWASP Zap security testing also a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years experience developing applications using Angular,jQuery, JavaScript, Java,Spring, SQL, and Web Development.

  • Experience with on-prem Aure DevOps repos and Piplelines

  • Experience with JFrog, SonarQube, OWASP Zap security is a plus

  • Experience with Agile Development

  • Working knowledge of OpenShift and Microservice processing

  • Ability to collaborate with fellow developers across groups and with Business Owners a must

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong support skills and willingness to do a support rotation is required

  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
