Job Description:

The MSG Sr. Product Specialist role is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities for a domestic discretionary or non-discretionary, advisory product, which may include managing a product within the brokerage or institutional offering. Responsibilities may include managing strategic initiatives from idea creation through execution & implementation, enhancing the investment offering, overseeing the client experience, such as client exception requests and billing concerns, Manage and address adhoc requests and issues relating to Legal, Compliance, Risk & Audit inquiries, Manage product collateral such as enrollment docs, contract, disclosure documents, and procedure manuals, partner with Operations and other ad hoc issues

The Investment Solutions Group is responsible for providing investment insights, platforms and solutions for client serviced within Global Wealth and Investment Management including Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Private Bank and Consumer Investments.

As a member of the Managed Investments team, this role will provide support for the Separately Managed Account and Model Portfolio Solutions business in the administration and oversight of the more than $500B in AUM, 800+ strategies and 150+ Investment Managers across the platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the oversight of the SMAs, Internal Model Portfolios (CIO), Research Based models, and Third-Party Models - Investment Manager Models (IMM) across the IAP, SPS and Consumer channels.

  • Lead annual business due diligence review process.

  • Work with internal partners and Third-Party Asset Managers to address ongoing product maintenance and escalated issues and see through to resolution.

  • Assist in the maintenance of both SMA and Model inbox and ensure correspondence is responded to in timely manner.

  • Assist in the coordination of ongoing new SMAs and Models launches.

  • Work with CIO and Third-Party Asset Managers to ensure collateral required to support the model offering is current and complete.

  • Ensure materials are prepared for routine distribution and/or ad hoc presentations/reporting.

  • Lead ad-hoc projects as they arise.

Skills:

  • Experience with investment products, including mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, money market funds and model portfolios

  • 5+ years of wealth management experience, preferred
