Job Description:

Responsibilities include monitoring the performance of a domestic discretionary or non-discretionary, advisory product, which may include managing a product within the brokerage or institutional offering. Responsibilities include working with more senior Product Specialists in developing product plans, strategies and enhancements, and performing data collection and coordination activities.

The Investment Solutions Group is responsible for providing investment insights, platforms and solutions for client serviced within Global Wealth and Investment Management including Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Private Bank and Consumer Investments, representing over $3T in client AUM.

As a member of the Managed Investments team, this role will provide support for the Separately Managed Account and Model Portfolio Solutions business across the various platforms. Additionally, the Product Specialist will interact with other product teams to best optimize the overall platform offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with oversight of the SMAs, internal model portfolios offered by the Chief Investment Office (CIO), internal research portfolios, and external Investment Manager Models (IMM)

  • Coordinate with team to ensure materials are prepared for routine distribution and/or ad hoc presentations.

  • Work with CIO and Third-Party Asset Managers to ensure collateral required to support the product offering is current and complete.

  • Partner with the team leads to coordinate the ongoing launches of new SMAs and Models

  • Partner with the team leads to complete any ongoing or ad hoc product maintenance

  • Maintain both SMA and Model inbox and ensure correspondence is responded to in timely manner.

Desired skills:

  • Five plus years Mutual Fund, ETF, SMA, Model Portfolios or financial services experience

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and simultaneously manage daily responsibilities and projects

  • Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

  • Detail oriented. Self-starter

  • Able to multi-task

Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Series 7 and 66, or able to obtain within 120 days

Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree required
