Further deploying our digital eBusiness solutions is critical to continuing this growth and we have a great opportunity for you to join our team as a Digital Deployment Consultant.
In this role, you will support rental growth through representing and deploying a set of Caterpillar’s world class rental eBusiness solutions with our enterprise, industry, Dealer partners and end-user customers. Additionally, you will work with appropriate partners and collaborate to drive deployment of eBusiness capabilities, focusing on delivering customer and business value as defined in a variety of ways.
Specifically, in this role you can expect to:
Execute the deployment of more than 5+ on-line rental platforms and/or applications, with strong working knowledge of other eBusiness capabilities as they pertain/connect to the capabilities they support.
Act as Caterpillar’s direct liaison in support of dealer on-boarding and deployment of on-line solutions which include on-site training, development and delivery of training resources, deployment results tracking and governance, and application utilization.
Obtain voice of dealer and customer to support digital product development roadmap.
Provide technical requirements and improvements to Caterpillar development team.
Drive dealer digital innovation, and adoption of new Services for customers.
Champion the adoption of connected assets with dealer rental fleets.
Support dealer on-line go to market, including digital marketing efforts and lead management processes and results tracking.
Support customer adoption of on-line tools, including training webinars and campaign support.
Focus on customer segment growth opportunities, such as National Accounts.
Support internal stakeholder understanding and awareness of execution of on-line tools.
Engage and support all aspects of dealer digital transformation.
Champion to influence dealer on-boarding of on-line solutions and links to strategic priorities.
Initiate digital projects and activities to identify linkages and synergies across business units, industries and/or dealers.
Drive proper collaboration, coordination, training, communication and alignment among related areas, projects, and strategies within the team and with internal and/or dealer partners.
Drive and build digital awareness through communication and identity programs in multiple business units, industry groups and/or dealers.
Drive efforts related to future-focused assessment of industry impact related to digital programs and deployments and helps provide direction.
Assist appropriate industry groups and/or dealers identify issues and problems requiring careful analysis and coordinates efforts to provide solutions.
Interact and gains experience with digital capabilities to develop strong digital acumen to communicate with partners and stakeholders.
Track and monitor progress, typically via metrics reporting.
To be successful in this role, you need to bring (Basic Qualifications) :
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and more than 3 years’ experience in eBusiness, digital application deployment or similar area. Equivalent job-relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the degree.
Knowledge of current digital capabilities and with a basic understanding of the integration points.
Experience in project and program management, including communication and change management planning.
Demonstrated strength in communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to interact across all levels of the organization from team members to executive management is required.
Demonstrated success working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, and the ability to influence and resolve differences and issues.
Demonstrated abilities to adapt quickly to high velocity and change.

This position requires up to 40% travel.
