As a HR Manager you will manage and contribute to the development and administration of human resources policies and procedures and be actively involved in the joint strategic leadership of Division issues. The role is both strategic and hands on supporting our York, PA Operations team.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Partner with operations leadership to deliver strategic people goals
Actively participate on the facility leadership team, ensuring the focus on safety and people as integral to the strategy
Managing a bargained facility of approximately 300 employees
Lead efforts to achieve a positive employee experience for all employees
Provide direction and guidance on HR policies and procedures, and advise leaders on interpretation and application to ensure consistency
Provide solutions to attract, develop and retain talent
Lead local administration of employment practices, compliance, training
Lead and coach team of HR Professionals
4 -year college or university degree required
5+ years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, including time within an operations facility or warehouse
Labor relations experience
Strong understanding of HR Policies, compliance requirements, compensation and benefits, and performance management
Demonstrated experience partnering with leadership to deliver people and/or business strategies and initiatives to build Lean culture and create a positive employee experience
Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the organization to take specific actions
Location: York, PA
Domestic relocation is available to those who qualify
5-10% travel is expected
