About the role:
The Senior Digital Program Manager within the Digital Requirements and Performance Team oversees establishes the project plans and governance to drive execution of multiple and complex digital projects within COGMD. This role is critical to develop and manage the metrics for quality, velocity, cost and performance of digital solutions for Dealer-led services. The Senior Digital Program Manager establishes and manages governance with Cat Digital and ICS, in support of priorities established through the Digital Product Council. This role will serve as the primary interface between COGMD, Cat Digital, and ICS to communicate, align and govern all digital workstreams in support of COGMD Dealer-led services.
What you will be doing:
Using knowledge of marketing and digital processes and business acumen to guide cross-functional teams in the execution of projects
Defining program scope, establishing project plans with milestones and metrics to ensure each program delivers the objectives with regards to quality, velocity, and cost
Managing the day-to-day activities of projects, including overseeing project responsibilities and schedules. Developing contingency plans for potential risks.
Directing and motivating project team.
Evaluating and managing deliverables to ensure that service expectations are achievable, developed, and met.
Monitoring project results for significant deviations. Ensuring adherence to quality standards and processes.
What you will have:
IT Project Management: Knowledge of project management; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects using appropriate technical resources.
Level Extensive Experience:
• Controls quality standards and budgeting in an ongoing IT project.
• Estimates and appropriately addresses potential issues and risks in IT projects.
• Ensures that technical objectives and functional requirements align in all IT projects.
• Monitors every step in an IT project to ensure all aspects of the project are delivered on-time.
• Directs team members in analyzing client requirements in an appropriate manner.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Applies an assigned technique for critical thinking in a decision-making process.
• Identifies, obtains, and organizes relevant data and ideas.
• Participates in documenting data, ideas, players, stakeholders, and processes.
• Recognizes, clarifies, and prioritizes concerns.
• Assists in assessing risks, benefits and consideration of alternatives.
P lanning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Contributes to short-term operational plans.
• Anticipates and adapts to plan changes.
• Monitors progress of work against plan as required to meet objectives.
• Reports variances and makes agreed-upon corrections.
• Under guidance, develops tactical plan for own direct responsibility.
IT Project Control and Reporting: Knowledge of project control and reporting; ability to monitor the vital signs of an IT project while managing its progress and delivery schedule.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Tracks issues and potential problems to ensure maximum preparedness for IT projects.
• Uses Gantt and PERT/CPM charts to report IT project progress to management and clients.
• Revisits and reworks individual work plans to ensure intermediate deadlines are attainable.
• Conducts regular ad-hoc progress meetings with IT project teams.
• Tracks and reports on the progress made in an IT project team.
Additional Information:
Relocation is not available for this position.
This position is currently in a hybrid in-office work model, requiring a minimum 3-day week office presence onsite and remote work for the remaining days. However, work arrangements may be adjusted at any time based on business needs

Summary Pay Range:
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
