Caterpillar’s Earthmoving division has an exciting position open as Senior FP&A Manager for the Motor Graders product group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Motor Graders Strategy, influencing and recommending the right business decisions, and managing the overall business financial performance and growth. This position interacts with and presents to division senior leadership, including the Motor Grader’s Vice President and respective team, the Division CFO, as well as the many internal customers within Caterpillar.
What you will do:
Manage all aspects of accountable analysis, insights and reporting of financial results of the business on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis for the Earthmoving Motor Grader Business.
Support the Earthmoving Motor Grader Business Strategy Planning, that includes the long-term strategic development and short-term tactical planning to ensure growth and financial success for the business.
Guide the Earthmoving Motor Grader Business Analysis, providing business insights in the processes like target costs; cost monitoring; new product introduction analysis; total cost of ownership analysis; investment analysis; financial leadership on mergers and acquisitions.
Effectively lead, influence, and interact with a global and diverse team. Focused on talent development, succession planning, performance management, and target setting.
What Skills you will have:
Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Explains the organization's business model and competitive position in the marketplace.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Makes sound business decisions on behalf of the group when faced with complex and contradictory alternatives.
Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Coaches others in the use of financial management practices and tools. Designs financial analysis approaches and modeling specific to the business. Reviews key financial and performance indicators used by the corporation.
Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material. Adapts financial analysis methods to support organizational goals.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Summary Pay Range:
$156,000.00 - $234,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
