The Early Tenure Ramp Team is responsible for the on-boarding and early tenure treatment of our newly acquired commercial clients. The Corporate Early Tenure Consultant’s role is focused on driving charge volume by completing the new corporate program’s implementation. We work closely with both program administrators and cardmembers to ensure they get the most from their new program. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a high-performing & diverse team responsible for the most critical moments of a client’s new relationship with American Express.
Prior consultative sales and account development experience, preferably in an outbound call environment
Effective account development skills with experience in proactively building and leading an effective "pipeline" of time-sensitive, growth opportunities
Proven track record of building, leveraging and nurturing relationships with internal colleagues and key support personnel across the organization
Consistent record of handling multiple priorities, operating in a demanding and fast-paced environment, and the ability to make effective decisions quickly while demonstrating flexibility, resourcefulness, personal accountability, and resiliency
Proven organizational experience, self-motivation, and excellent time- management skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to meet critical deliverables and deadlines
Convey a focused work ethic & possess an enthusiastic “can do” attitude
Experience with SalesForce.com and intranet-based applications/platforms a plus
Adhere to American Express Blue Box Values and Leadership Behaviors as well as GCS Sales Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
Champion of and for compliance within USACG and GCS
