Job Description:

This job is responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling to minimize loss exposure and negative impacts to the customer experience. Key responsibilities include utilizing a variety of systems such as Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other relational data bases to provide analytical support on strategies, ensure goals are met, and propose policy and procedural changes within segmentation structures to produce optimal results. Job expectations include evaluating data to assess potential fraud risk and create mitigation strategies.

The position provides analytical and operational support for the Deposits product within the Change in Terms team in Pricing Execution which requires engagement with multiple lines of business. The day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining subject matter expertise to collaborate and translate business requirements for data mining and validation activities that results in a variety of outputs for legally required notifications and data changes across millions of Consumer Banking customers. This High Risk process requires a strong control oriented individual to support multiple overlapping programs. This individual should possess excellent analytical skills and have experience with a variety of software, including SAS/SQL and Excel which is preferred. Unique opportunity to learn and support program execution for Deposits, but may also include Consumer Card, and Small Business Card.

Responsibilities:

  • Recommends ways to help the business achieve desired outcomes and make informed business decisions using data analysis outputs

  • Performs complex analysis of financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance

  • Leads coordination of the production of product performance reports and updates for senior management

Core responsibilities include:

  • Develop efficient queries using SAS/SQL query language in accordance with criteria and regularly present work to key stakeholders

  • Compile, analyze and interpret data to make strategic and tactical recommendations

  • Support adhoc programs but also may be responsible for recurring execution programs and occasional remediation engagement

  • Take ownership of individual programs end-to-end

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work efficiently both in a team environment and independently

  • Detailed oriented and drives priority across multiple initiatives

  • Excel experience

Desired Skills:

  • Related experience, preferably in product or digitally related functions

  • Process design and/or project management experience

  • Deposits, Credit Card, SB Card, Call Center, Financial Center and/or Digital channel knowledge

  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Business
