How will you make an impact in this role?

The Information Security Specialist - DSPM Operations role will be part of a dynamic team that will lead activities for capability service enablement, technical releases, and operations within the DSPM (Data Security Posture Management) group with close ties to the EDM initiative. This individual will enable DSPM tooling by deploying software, databases, upgrades, and patching for the services provided.

Responsibilities of this position will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Management of DSPM infrastructure and software deployment.

  • Capability implementation to enable DSPM policy management activities.

  • Database setup assistance for scanning and detection execution.

  • Technical software upgrades for major and minor product releases.

  • Server support to maintain availability targets.

  • Software patching of identified defects and vulnerabilities.

  • Root cause analysis and resolution of encountered system issues.

  • Development and deployment of preventive maintenance procedures.

  • Participating in key activities related to DSPM.

  • Providing backup or support for other processes on the team as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience with operating systems.

  • 5 years of experience with databases and unstructured data sources.

  • 3 years of supporting applications, databases, and infrastructure.

  • Proficient understanding of application deployment processes and procedures.

  • Experience with upgrades, patching, and maintenance of applications, servers, and databases.

  • Prior experience with configuration management.

  • 5 years of knowledge in project and process management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication for technical concepts.

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Proven ability to build relationships with key partner collaboration.

  • Technical database coding abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in a support operations role.

  • Prior data governance or technical asset inventory role.

  • Experience with cloud technologies, tools, and processes.

  • Knowledge of Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) tools and capabilities.

  • Risk assessment and risk management process experience.

  • Understanding of company data risk policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Ability to work with conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

  • Experience with established industry Information Security best practices.

  • Understanding of data-related laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually bonus benefits
