Hyatt Night Audit in PHOENIX, Arizona
Description:
Starts at $19.50/hour plus overnight shift differential.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Night Auditor to join our hotel team. This individual will be responsible for auditing daily financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to work independently during late-night hours.
Key responsibilities include:
Perform all duties related to guest check-ins/check-outs and reservations during the night shift.
Audit, balance, and post daily financial transactions, including guest accounts, credit card payments, and cash receipts.
Reconcile and verify daily reports, ensuring accuracy of billing and charges.
Prepare and distribute daily financial reports for management review.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a positive and professional demeanor.
Maintain accurate records of guest services, payments, and any issues requiring attention.
Ensure the security of the hotel during overnight hours by monitoring surveillance equipment and responding to emergencies.
Prepare and organize the front desk for the morning shift.
Assist with additional clerical duties as needed, such as data entry, filing, and office organization.

Qualifications:
Prior experience in a hotel or customer service role is preferred.
Experience with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Reserve, or similar) is a plus.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Availability to work overnight shifts including weekends and holidays
Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Ability to handle cash and process financial transactions.
